Remembrance
Moving moment at the Black Watch Monument today as local soldiers and families came to pay their respects. An impromptu service led by a soldier who piped and shared his own poem about his two grandfathers in the war. The monument used to stand on Powrie (in the turkey paddock!) but was moved down the road when the dual carriageway was built so it would be seen by more people. Poignant day remembering all those who gave so much to give us our tomorrow.
